Arriving by plane

Bath lies within easy reach of London's airports. Locally, there is also Bristol airport close by, and being situated near to both the M4 and M5 motorways, and having a train and coach station, Bath is readily reached from the airports farther afield.

The London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted) all have train links into central London. Heathrow has the Heathrow Express rail service direct to Paddington Station (from where you can take a train direct to Bath) and Gatwick has the Gatwick Express rail service direct to Victoria Station (from where you can take a coach from Victoria Coach Station to Bath, or the Tube to Paddington Station followed by a train direct to Bath).
